The program certifies attendees as Regatta Safety Officers (RSOs). It is almost impossible for both on and offshore safety actions to be addressed without a designated role responsible for the safety preparation and response activities for a regatta.

At the endo of the course each attendee receives a Certificate as a Regatta Safety Officer.
